Chase Community Giving Program

You decide what matters: that simple idea is what Chase Community Giving is all about. Since 2009, they’ve been putting the power of giving in the hands and hearts of the community. To date, Chase Community Giving fans have helped decide which local charities have shared in over $20 million in grants, helping these charities bring change across the country.

This year the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank is one the charities Facebook users and Chase customers can vote for. Voting will start on Thursday, September 6th and end on Wednesday, September 19th. 196 charities with the most votes will share in $5 million in grants! We’re asking everyone in our community to vote for the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank. Here’s how to vote:

Two votes for every Facebook user – plus get a bonus vote!
Facebook users will automatically get 2 votes to use. You can’t use them both on the same charity. Keeping with the spirit of giving, you’ll have an opportunity to earn an extra vote. All you need to do is share a link from the Chase Community Giving app to your timeline. If one of your friends links back to the Chase Community Giving app and casts a vote of their own, you’ll earn an extra vote! You can use your extra vote on one of the 2 charities you already voted for.

Chase customers have 2 extra votes
Without Chase customers, Chase Community Giving wouldn’t be possible. As a special thanks, Chase customers will have 2 extra votes. To use your customer appreciation votes, just go to, log in, search charities, and cast your ballots!

  1. I’m not sure exactly why but this weblog is loading extremely slow for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end? I’ll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.
