CANstruction 2013

This weekend the 1st Annual MLK Day of Service Community Service Project – Canstruction – was on display at Spotsylvania Towne Centre. A huge thank you goes out to all those that participated, volunteered, donated and voted during this year’s Canstruction event. Mark your calendars now and make plans to participate next year.

  • Colonial Forge’s Learn and Serve “CANplexity” totaling 830 Pounds
  • Stafford County Public School “Stone Soup – Souper Edu Crew” totaling 1,414 Pounds
  • Quality Expectations – HandyCAN Services “We Can Give Back” totaling 1336 Pounds
  • Off Da Couch Training “Team CAN Get You Motivated” totaling 1565 Pounds
  • Germanna Community College Engineering “One Can Flag” totaling 748 Pounds

The total for this year’s CANstruction is 10,799 pounds of food and $502.91 collected equaling a total of 10,507 meals provided out into the community.
