Will Swim For Food

WSFFGriffin Mahon swims again in this years Will Swim For Food.

Will Swim for Food is a fundraiser, created to help alleviate hunger in local communities. Held in Santa Cruz, swimmers raise money to donate to food banks and swim around the Santa Cruz pier, about a mile, in 53-degree water. This year’s swim is December 14th – one of the coldest days of the year!

Last year Griffin raised $3,000 dollars equaling 9,000 meals given back to the community and this year he’d like to double that.

How can I donate?
Will Swim for Food 2013 has a StayClassy fundraiser page set up. You can donate to Griffin’s profile at http://goo.gl/Kon3O6. If you do not feel comfortable donating online, you can also donate cash or make a check out to the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank.

If you donate more than $150 online, you will be shipped a duck that you can decorate and Griffin will tow these around the pier with him on his swim!
