“Fed Up” Documentary Screening

In order to bring more awareness to the issue of obesity in our country and community the Doctor Yum Project will be screening the very import and acclaimed documentary called “Fed Up” on Saturday, October 18th at Paragon Village (See the flyer)

This Katie Couric documentary delves into how the food industry has perpetuated disease and chronicles the struggles of a few children suffering with food addiction and diet-related illness. The Doctor Yum Project wants to bring these stories to the public so that our community can come together in a meaningful way to help children achieve the best health possible.

The Doctor Yum Project is happy to partner with Fredericksburg Parent magazine and Paragon Village 12 to make this happen! After the move a discussion about the solutions to the obesity crisis is planned. Paragon has agreed to keep concessions closed while healthy snacks are offered for the movie.

Tickets can be obtained on the Doctor Yum website, www.doctoryum.com for a $5 minimum donation.
